This policy explains what AFTERHRS collects, why, and what you can do about it. AFTERHRS is run by [OWNER NAME], [ADDRESS], Denmark ("we"). Write to hello@afthrs.app with any question about your data.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Username, email and a passcode (stored only as a hash) | To create your account, log you in and send you login and reset codes. |
| Your rough location | To show and alert you about events near you. If you use GPS, your position is used on your phone and not stored. If you pick a city by hand, we store it rounded to about 1 km. |
| Push notification token | To send the alerts you turned on, like a new date from someone you follow or a location drop. |
| Events you join, tickets, door codes and check-ins | To get you in at the door and to let hosts manage their event. |
| Group messages, follows, photos and pages you make | Because you post them. Others in the group or on AFTERHRS can see them. |
| Host and artist details (name, city, links, booking email) | To show your public host or artist page. |
| Payments | Ticket payments and host payouts are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. |
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for ads.
Who can see what
- Hosts see the usernames of people going to their event, ticket buyers and who checked in at the door.
- An event's address is only shown to people who can see the event, and only once the host unlocks it or chooses to show it.
- Group members see the group's messages and members.
- Host and artist pages are public.
Services we use
- Supabase: database and login, hosted in the EU (Stockholm).
- Expo: sends push notifications to your phone.
- Stripe: ticket payments and payouts to hosts.
- Resend: sends emails with your login codes.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website.
Some of these companies are based in the US. They process data for us under contracts that include the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Tickets and payment records are kept as long as the law requires for bookkeeping, usually 5 years in Denmark. Old events and their check-in data are removed after they end, apart from what is needed for payments.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete your data. You can delete your account at any time in the app under YOU, then Settings. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to stop processing it by writing to hello@afthrs.app. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to Datatilsynet (the Danish Data Protection Agency).
Age
AFTERHRS is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app.
